National Level Patriotic Poem Competition

Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), an autonomous organization of Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, announces National Level Patriotic Poem Competition on the occasion of Independence Day 2020.

CCRT is working in the field of linking education with culture for more than 40 years and has awarded more than 14000 scholarships till date to the young and meritorious children in the age group of 10 to 14 years.

CCRT under the initiatives/programs to be undertaken during the Independence Day 2020, on behalf of Ministry of Culture , Government of India invites entries of “Patriotic Poem” from meritorious young children in the age group of 10 to 14 years, for participation in the National Level Patriotic Poem Competition. Children whose date of birth is in between 01.07.2007 and 30.06.2011 (both days inclusive) are eligible to send their entries.

The selected winners will be awarded Merit Certificate along with Cash Prize of :
1. First Prize (Rs. 15,000/-)
2. Second Prize (Rs. 7,500/-)
3. Third Prize (Rs. 5,000/-)
4. Consolation Prize (Rs. 2000/-) for each State/ Union Territory of India ( poems from which state/ Union Territory received)

The last date for submission of the Entries will be 07-08-2020, 11.30 P.M.

आवश्यक सूचना

सत्र 2020-21 के लिए केन्द्रीय विद्यालयों में प्रवेश की प्रक्रिया 20 जुलाई से शुरू हो रही है। कक्षा 1  में प्रवेश हेतु पंजीकरण 20/07/2020 से 07/08/2020 तक होंगे। यह प्रक्रिया ऑनलाइन संपन्न होगी, जिसे आप साइट के या एंडरायड एप के माध्यम से भर सकते हैं। एडमिशन साइट के लिए आप निम्न लिंक पर क्लिक करें-

Philately Division, Department of Posts, Government of India announces Stamp Design Contest on the occasion of Independence Day 2020!

For more than 150 years, the Department of Posts (DoP) has been the backbone of the country’s communication and has played a crucial role in the country’s social-economic development. Philately is the study of stamps and postal history and other related items. It also refers to the collection, appreciation and research activities on stamps and other philatelic products.

The theme of the Stamp Design Contest is “UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India (Cultural)”. Entries are invited through an open contest on MyGov platform of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

आज अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्लास्टिक बैग मुक्त दिवस है। जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए ये दिवस तो घोषित कर दिया गया लेकिन आज बढ़ते प्रदुषण और आने वाली पीढ़ी के लिए लगातार बढ़ते खतरे को लेकर कितना सजग हुए हैं?  औसतन, प्लास्टिक की थैलियों का उपयोग सिर्फ 25 मिनट के लिए किया जाता है और दुर्भाग्यवश एक प्लास्टिक को गलने में  कम से कम 1000 साल लगते हैं, साथ ही, दुनिया के महासागरों और पृथ्वी को प्रदूषित करने में सिर्फ चंद मिनट लगते हैं। अधिकांश लोग इस तथ्य से अनजान हैं कि हर मिनट 10 लाख प्लास्टिक बैग का उपयोग किया जाता है। 

बड़े-बड़े बाजारों से लेकर सब्जी मंडी में आज भी प्लास्टिक में खुलेआम सामान बेचा जा रहा है। आए दिन समुद्र में बढ़ते प्लास्टिक प्रदुषण के कारण समुद्री जीवों की जान पर भी खतरा मंडरा रहा है। इंडोनेशिया एक द्वीपसमूह है जहां की जनसंख्या 260 मिलियन है। यह देश चीन के बाद सबसे ज्यादा प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण फैलाने वाला दुनिया का दूसरा देश है। जनवरी में जरनल साइंस में प्रकाशित अध्ययन में ये बात कही गई है। यहां हर साल 3.2 मिलियन टन प्लास्टिक का कचरा उत्पन्न होता है। जिसका निपटारा नहीं किया जाता। अध्ययन के मुताबिक इसमें से 1.29 मिलियन टन कचरा समुद्र में पहुंचता है।

1950 से 1970 तक प्लास्टिक का काफी कम उत्पादन किया जाता था इसलिए प्लास्टिक प्रदुषण का नियंत्रण करना आसान था। 1990 तक दो दशकों में प्लास्टिक के उत्पादन में तीन गुना बढ़ोतरी हुई। पिछले 40 वर्षों के मुकाबले वर्ष 2000 के दौरान प्लास्टिक का उत्पादन काफी ज्यादा हो गया। फलस्वरूप आज 30 करोड़ टन प्लास्टिक का उत्पादन रोजाना होता है जो करीब पूरी आबादी के वजन के बराबर है।

 

प्लास्टिक के कम इस्तेमाल के लिए सरकार प्रयास कर रही है। यहां तक कि दुकानदारों से भी कहा जा रहा है कि लोगों को प्लाटिक के थौलों में सामान न दें और देशभर के स्कूलों में बच्चों को बताया जा रहा है कि इससे क्या समस्याएं हो सकती हैं। सरकार की ओर से सभी तरह के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं ताकि वह 2025 तक प्लास्टिक के 70 फीसदी कम इस्तेमाल करने संबंधी अपने उद्देश्य को प्राप्त कर सके। यह बड़ा उद्देश्य तभी पूरा हो सकता है जब लोग ये समझें कि प्लास्टिक हमारा दुश्मन है। 

बीते दिनों देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आईवीआरआई के वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा एक बैल के लाइव आपरेशन को अपनी आँखों से देखा। ऑपरेशन के दौरान बैल के पेट से पूरे 50 किलो प्लास्टिक निकली देख प्रधानमंत्री खुद हैरान रह गए। इसके बाद उन्होंने देश के हर नागरिक से पॉलिथीन से दूर रहने की अपील की।

दरअसल जब-जब प्लास्टिक के खतरनाक पहलुओं के बारे में सोचा जाता है, तो यकायक देश की उन गायों की याद जरूर आ जाती है जो पेट में प्लास्टिक जमा हो जाने के कारण अक्सर अनचाहे मौत के मुँह में चली जाती हैं। असलियत में यह सड़क पर घूमने वाले आवारा जानवरों भले वह चाहे बैल हों, सुअर हों, सांड हों, गधे हों या फिर कोई अन्य जानवर, उनके लिये तो यह प्लास्टिक काल बन चुका है। यह समस्या अकेले हमारे देश की ही नहीं, समूचे विश्व की है।

यह समूची दुनिया के लिये गम्भीर चुनौती है। सच तो यह है कि प्लास्टिक कचरा पर्यावरण के लिये गम्भीर खतरा है। वैज्ञानिक तो बरसों से इसके दुष्परिणामों के बारे में चेता रहे हैं। अपने शोधों, अध्ययनों के माध्यम से उन्होंने समय-समय पर इससे होने वाले खतरों को साबित भी किया है और जनता को उससे आगाह भी किया है।
