GANGA QUEST 2021

 Ganga Quest is an online quiz on Ganga being conducted by National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), an authority under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.  TREE Craze Foundation, a not for profit organization working on Ganga, Rivers, and Environment, is the implementation partner for Ganga Quest.

he unique feature of the Ganga Quest 2021 are: 

a) Conducted in both Hindi and English;

b) An online quiz 

                        Registrations will start on March 22nd.

पुस्तकोपहार : पर्यावरण संरक्षण हेतु एक पहल

~पुस्तकोपहार - उत्सव~

प्यारे बच्चों जैसा कि आप जानते हैं कि केन्द्रीय विद्यालय प्रति वर्ष नये सत्र की शुरुआत में पुस्तक उपहार उत्सव मनाता है। इस उत्सव में छात्र-छात्राएं पिछली कक्षा की किताबों को विद्यालय पुस्तकालय में जमा करते हैं और अगर अगली कक्षा की पुस्तक उपलब्ध हो तो पुस्तकें प्राप्त करते हैं। केन्द्रीय विद्यालय की पुस्तकोंपहार योजना निशुल्क है जिसका उद्देश्य अधिक से अधिक पेड़ों को कटने से बचाना है, क्योंकि कागज पेड़ों से ही बनते हैं। एक पेड़ से 16.67 कागज के रीम बनते हैं और एक रीम में 500 sheets होते हैं, तो एक पेड़ से 16.67×500=8335 sheets कागज बनता हैं।यदि आप सब इस पुस्तक उपहार योजना/उत्सव में पुरानी कक्षा की पुस्तकों को दान करके और अगली कक्षा की पुस्तकें प्राप्त करके भाग लेते हैं, तो जाने-अनजाने में कितने पेड़ों को कटने से बचा सकते हैं। ज़रा सोचिए। 

विद्यार्थी अपनी पिछली कक्षा की पुस्तकें अपने साथी या जानकारी में जो भी साथी हो, जिसे आपकी पुस्तकों की आवश्यकता हो, उसे अपनी पुस्तके उपहार में अच्छे से कवर चढ़ा कर अ उपहार स्वरूप दें सकते हैं ।

प्यारे बच्चों केंद्रीय विद्यालय के इस पुस्तक उपहार उत्सव में आप बढ़ चढ़कर हिस्सा ले औऱ सैंकड़ों पेड़ों को कटने से बचायें। आप अपनी पिछली कक्षा की पुस्तकें 7 *अप्रैल*2022 तक विद्यालय पुस्तकालय में या अपने कक्षा अध्यापक को भी जमा करवा सकते हैं।

About Quiz

As a part of Republic Day celebration”, an online quiz competition, essay competition and poetry competition on the theme of “Indian Constitution, struggle for freedom, warriors of Indian independence” is being organized by the Ministry of Education in association with Ministry of Defence from 20^th January to 30^th January 2021

Terms and Conditions

1. Duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
 
2. Online certificates for participation will be issued to all the participants.
 
3. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answer. Participants can view their score after the last date of the quiz.
 
4. An individual can participate only once in the quiz.
 
5. The criteria for selecting successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”.
 
6. Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his/her name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.
 
7. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation, etc. during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected.  The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
 
8. Employees, directly or indirectly, connected with organizing the quiz are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
